Initial Appointment

At your first appointment, we like to gather as much information about you as possible. This includes your previous dental and medical histories, any current problems you may be experiencing, and your goals of dental treatment. We will then conduct a comprehensive examination, including an oral cancer screening, periodontal evaluation, and a thorough evaluation of your teeth, including any existing dental work. A determination will then be made if any x-rays are necessary. Utilizing our state-of-the-art digital sensors, designed to reduce your exposure by 75%, we will take the x-rays which are necessary for properly diagnosing any hidden problems which cannot be seen otherwise. In some cases, it is necessary to take study models of your teeth as well as photographs to aid us in properly treatment planning your dental care.

We will then discuss with you our findings, and based on your input and desired treatment goals, an ideal treatment plan will be developed. In most instances, there are several treatment options and these will be discussed with you. In some cases, it is necessary to have you return for a brief treatment presentation.

Dental lightening has proven to be a very safe, yet effective way to brighten your smile. Over the years, substances such as ketchup, mustard, red wine, coffee, tea, and soda may stain your teeth. Even if you have avoided such dark substances, teeth still become yellow over time. If you are dissatisfied with the color of your teeth, tooth lightening is an excellent way to make them lighter, brighter, and more alive.

Composite Fillings and Bonding

Our filling material of choice is a composite material which is bonded to the tooth. This provides a conservative and esthetic means to restoring teeth in one visit. The material can be utilized for both front and back teeth requiring small to medium sized restorations.

Gold Restorations

Gold has the longest track record of any restorative material used today. The strength and longevity of these restorations is unmatched by any other material. It can be used to partially or completely cover a back tooth in order to restore and protect it.

Porcelain Veneers

An excellent alternative to crowns, veneers can perfect your smile by masking stains, hiding chips, correcting misalignment, and creating uniformity. Veneers, which are made of thin, customized material designed to slide over the teeth, look natural, are long lasting, and are relatively easy to apply. Below, two porcelain veneers were made to correct only the two small teeth with the spaces around them.

Porcelain Crowns

Crowns, also known as caps, are natural-looking covers that fit snugly over teeth to conceal cracked, badly discolored, injured, or chipped teeth. In the past, porcelain crowns required a metal substructure, but with today's technology, all-porcelain crowns are now available. All-porcelain crowns are more attractive than other types of crowns, and they usually require a less invasive procedure. Ultimately, crowns can improve the overall appearance of your smile while making your teeth more resistant to injury.

Dental Implants

Dental implants restored with crowns and bridge segments offer us the most conservative and natural option in replacing missing teeth. They can also be used to help secure removable partial and full dentures.
